Pietro Manzoni is a computer engineering professor at the "Universitat Politècnica de València," Spain. From November 1992 to February 1993, he was an intern at Bellcore Labs, Red Bank, New Jersey, USA. His research has always been focused on using Mobile Wireless Networks to create dynamic systems. From 2009, she served as the Commercial Director for the Telco & Media Market in Italy until 2011, when she left HP for Oracle, where she held the position of Commercial Director for Northern Italy for Infrastructure and Cloud. She joined Vodafone in 2017 as the IoT Country Manager, where she significantly contributed to the growth of Vodafone Business’s Internet of Things solutions. He has been selected for the Ramón y Cajal Fellowship, the Ikerbasque Fellowship, and the Gipuzkoa Fellowship. He serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics and the IEEE Open Journal of the Industrial Electronics Society. He is recognized as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists in Networking and Telecommunications. His research interests include the Internet of Things, B5G/6G, smart grid communication, and their real-world applications.
